शिक्षा मंत्री का ऐलान
एमएचआरडी मिनिस्टर प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने शुक्रवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की मौजूदगी में आयोजित परीक्षा पर चर्चा कार्यक्रम के दौरान भी इंटीग्रेटेड बीएड पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने की घोषणा की है। मंत्रालय की ओर से भेजे पत्रों और इस घोषणा के मुताबिक वर्ष 2019 में बीएड पाठ्यक्रम का स्वरूप पूरी तरह बदलने की उम्मीद है।

2014 से हुआ था बदलाव
एनसीटीई ने शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण की गुणवत्ता सुधारने के लिए नवंबर 2014 में बीएड के एक वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रम की समयावधि बढ़ाकर दो साल की थी। मार्च 2016 से चार वर्षीय इंटीग्रेटिड बीएड पाठ्यक्रम भी शुरू कर दिया था, टीचर्स ट्रेनिंग कोर्स संचालित करने वाले कॉलेजों ने इस पाठ्यक्रम को संचालित करने में खास रुचि नहीं दिखाई।
